As with all our semi air suspension systems, they significantly increase straight-line driving stability on motorways, hi cross winds and when being overtaken by beefy vehicles. Semi air suspensions achieve you to, stiffen the rear suspension by intensifying the air pressure alleviating any sagging of the rear suspension due to incorrect or over loading, and allowing the vehicles traveling height to be kept on the flat. Motorhome roll on roundabouts and when cornering is also curtailed and the camper van ride is much improved.
Some people fit air assist suspension kits to make good the back ride height of their motorhome. Unlike usual vans, motorhomes are always fully laden, especially if additional rear racks are retrofitted to carry bikes etc. so the rear springs do sag after a while. These units will restore the ride height, however everybody who has had air assisted suspension units fitted to their vehicles all say they are also impressed with the new benefits of improved ride, improved cornering and being less prone to side winds and buffering by large lorries.. |
