Our Firestone DriveRite systems are the same system as offered by most of the UK motorhome accessory stores. Yes they are vended under many names, but at the end of the day, most are Firestone!

As with all our semi air suspension kits, pneumatic assistors greatly boost straight-line stability on motorways, gutsy cross winds and at the same time being overtaken by chunky busses. They enable you to, stiffen the rear suspension by increasing the air pressure alleviating any droopyness of the rear suspension due to incorrect or over loading, and causing the vehicles ride height to be kept consistant. Truck roll on roundabouts and when manoeuvring is also reduced and the over all driving is much improved.
Some people fit air support suspension units to restore the rear driving height of their motorhome. Unlike usual vans, motorhomes are always entirely weighed down, especially if spare rear racks are fitted to carry bikes etc. so the rear springs do sag after a while. These units will restore the running height, how ever everyone who has had air supported suspension accessories fitted to their busses all say they are also impressed with the added benefits of improved driving, improved cornering and being less prone to side winds and buffering by large lorries.. |
