As with all our semi air suspension accessories, they greatly increase straight-line stability on motorways, hardy cross winds and when being overtaken by heavy vehicles. Pneumatic air assitance kits enable you to, stiffen the rear suspension by increasing the air P.S.I. abating any sagging of the rear end suspension due to imperfect or over loading, and allowing the vehicles ride height to be set level. Body roll on roundabouts and when cornering is moreover reduced and the general ride is much improved.
Most people fit air assist suspension units to regain the rear traveling height of their motorhome. Dis-similarly normal vans, motorhomes are commonly thouroughly laden, especially if additional rear luggage racks are fitted to carry folding bikes etc. so the rear springs do sag after a while. These systems will restore the traveling height, however everyone who has had air assisted suspension systems fitted to their vehicles all say they are also impressed with the added benefits of restored ride, revived cornering and being less prone to side ward winds and buffering by large lorries.. |
