Our Firestone DriveRite systems are the same package as offered by most of the UK motorhome accessory stores. Yes pneumatic air assitance kits are marketed by various banners, but at the end of the day, most are Firestone!
The company who make these, is Firestone, the same people who make the tyres! These kits are manufactored in the USA.
As with all our semi air suspension systems, they greatly increase straight-line stability on motorways, firm cross winds and when being overtaken by chunky vehicles. They enable you to, stiffen the back end suspension by increasing the air pressure correcting any sinking of the rear suspension due to incorrect or over loading, and allowing the vehicles ride height to be kept level. Body roll on roundabouts and when turning is also curtailed and the bus ride is much improved.
Most firm fit air assisted suspension units to restore the rear ride height of their motorhome. Unlike normal mini busses, campes are always greatly laden, especially if additional rear racks are fitted to carry folding bikes etc. so the rear springs do sag after a while. These units will put back the ride height, on the other hand everyone who has had air assisted suspension accessories fitted to their vehicles all say they are also impressed with the added benefits of improved running, improved cornering and being less prone to oblique winds and buffering by large lorries.. |
