Our Firestone Coil-Rite systems are the same system as offered by most of the UK motorhome accessory showrooms. Yes Pneuride air assit are marketed under different names, but at the end of the day, most are Firestone!
The concern who produce these, is Firestone, the same people who assemble the wheel tires! These kits are manufactored in the USA.
As with all our semi air suspension packages, pneumatic air kits eminently enhance straight-line stability on motorways, strong cross winds and when being overtaken by heavy freight trucks. Pneumatic air kits enable you to, stiffen the rear end suspension by intensifying the air pressure alleviating any droopyness of the rear suspension due to poor or over loading, and allowing the vehicles running height to be kept level. Body lurch on roundabouts and at the same time cornering is also decreased and the general traveling is much improved.
Most people fit air supported suspension kits to restore the rear ride height of their motorhome. Unlike normal vans, motorhomes are always fully full, especially if additional rear racks are upgraded to carry bikes etc. so the rear springs do sag after a while. These systems do restore the ride height, however everyone who has had air assisted suspension systems fitted to their vehicles all say they are also impressed with the new benefits of comfy ride, improved manoeuvring and being less noticeable to side winds and buffering by cumbersome lorries.. |
