Our Firestone DriveRite systems are the same system as offered by some of the UK caravanette accessory stores. Yes they are marketed under varring names, but at the end of the day, most are Firestone!
The company who construct these, is Firestone, the same people who make the tyres! These kits are made in the USA.
As with all our semi air suspension systems, pneumatic air assitance kits greatly increase straight-line stability on motorways, hardy cross winds and when being overtaken by beefy vehicles. They enable you to, stiffen the back end suspension by intensifying the air pressure alleviating any wilting of the back suspension due to improper or over loading, and allowing the vehicles driving height to be kept level. Motor home roll on round abouts and when cornering is also depreciated and the general traveling is much restored.
Most people fit air assisted suspension units to make good the rear ride height of their motorhome. Unlike normal vans, motorhomes are always fully laden, especially if additional rear end racks are fitted to carry bikes etc. so the rear suspension system do sag after a while. These units will restore the ride height, however everyone who has had air support suspension systems fitted to their lorries all say they are also impressed with the increased benefits of improved ride, improved cornering and being less prone to oblique winds and buffering by large lorries.. |
