The PneurideŽ range of semi air suspension systems are supplied by Dunlop Systems and Components. During this time more than 10 million parts have been sold to a very wide assortment of vehicle manufacturers.
The PneurideŽ semi air suspension kits have been designed in such a way that fitting should be well within the scope of a confident 'do it yourself' gent. The total number of parts has been minimised and no special tools are required.
Semi air suspension systems enable the vehicle ride height to be kept elevated. Pneuride assistors greatly boost stability, in particular during high-speed motorway driving - in a straight-line, when blown around by strong cross winds and whilst being overtaken by heavy vehicles. At lower speeds they considerably reduce body roll on corners and when cornering.
A back end suspension retrofitted provide a semi air suspension system can be stiffened simply by adding the air pressure in the bellows. This mineralises any droopiness of the rear suspension due to imbalanced or excessive loading.
Bags of people fit semi air suspension systems to restore the rear ride height of a motorhome to its initial level. Unlike cars, motorhomes are always fully laden. The is largely true if spare rear racks are fitted to carry bikes etc. As a result of constant full loading, steel springs tend to sag after a while. Semi air suspension kits entirely counter the afliction.
