The PneurideŽ range of semi air suspension systems are supplied by Dunlop Systems and Components. Air springs and bellows have been well put together, developed and manufactured by this company for more than half a century. During this time more than 10 million pieces have been sent out to a very wide range of vehicle manufacturers.
The PneurideŽ semi air suspension kits have been designed in such a way that fitting should be well within the scope of a confident 'do it yourself' person. The total number of parts has been minimised and no special gear are required.
Semi air suspension systems enable the bus and truck ride height to be kept level. They notably increase stability, in particular For high-speed motorway rides - in a straight-line, when battered by strong side winds and whilst being overtaken by heavy vehicles. At lower speeds they rather reduce motorhome roll on roundabouts and when manoeuvring.
A rear end suspension retrofitted with a semi air suspension kit can be stiffened simply by increasing the air pressure in the bellows. This alleviates any sagging of the rear suspension due to imbalanced or excessive loading.
Assorted firm fit semi air suspension units to restore the rear ride height of a motorhome to its original level. Unlike vans, motorhomes are always abuntantly laden. This is especially true if additional rear racks are fitted to hold bikes etc. As a result of constant full loading, steel springs tend to sag after a while. Semi air suspension kits compently counter this tendency.
