The PneurideŽ range of semi air suspension accessories are supplied by Dunlop Systems and Components. Air springs and bellows have been designed, developed and manufactured by this company for more than half a century. During the time more than 10 million pieces have been sold to a very wide range of vehicle manufacturers.
The PneurideŽ semi air suspension kits have been designed in such a way that fitting should be well within the scope of a confident 'do it yourself' person. The total number of parts has been minimised and no special tools are required.
Semi air suspension accessories enable the vehicle traveling height to be kept even. They greatly increase stability, in particular All along high-speed motorway travel - in a straight-line, when battered by strong cross winds and whilst being overtaken by heavy freight trucks. At lower speeds they notably reduce body roll on roundabouts and when cornering.
A rear suspension fitted with a semi air suspension system can be stiffened simply by intensifying the air pressure in the bellows. This alleviates any dropping of the rear suspension due to imbalanced or excessive loading.
Many people fit semi air suspension units to put back the rear ride height of a motorhome to its original level. Dissimilarly vans, motorhomes are always thouroughly burdened. This is fundamentally true if accessory back end racks are fitted to carry bikes etc. As a result of constant copious loading, steel suspension system tend to sag after a while.
