Pneuride Air Assist Kits

The PneurideŽ range of semi air suspension kits are supplied by Dunlop Accessories and Components. Air springs and bellows have been designed, developed and manufactured by this company for exceeding than half a century. For this time more than 10 million parts have been sold to a very wide range of vehicle fabricators.

The Dunlop Pneuride semi air suspension kits have been well put together in such a way that fitting should be well in the scope of a confident 'do it yourself' person. The quantity number of parts has been minimised and no special tools are required.

Semi air suspension systems make it possible for the vehicle ride height to be kept elevated. Pneuride air kits enormously increase stability, in particular during high-velocity motorway navigation - in a straight-line, when buffeted by heady cross winds and whilst being overtaken by chunky vehicles. At lower speeds Pneuride air assitance kits accordingly diminish body roll on roundabouts and even when manoeuvring.

A rear suspension fitted find a semi air suspension system can be stiffened only by increasing the air pressure in the bellows. This decreases any droopyness of the rear suspension due to imbalanced or excessive loading.

Many people fit semi air suspension kits to restore the rear ride height of a motorhome to its manufacturers level. Unlike mini busses, motorhomes are always fully laden. This is largely true if additional rear racks are fitted to carry velocipedes etc. As a result of constant full loading, steel springs usually to sag after a while. Semi air suspension units completely corrects this tendency.
