Semi air suspension systems enable the vehicle traveling height to be kept on the level. A rear end suspension fitted with a semi air suspension system can be stiffened simply by increasing the air pressure in the bellows. This alleviates any sagging of the rear end suspension due to imbalanced or excessive loading.
Many people fit semi air suspension units to make good the rear ride height of a motorhome to its original level. Unlike vans, motorhomes are eternally fully laden.
