Fiamma A20 Expansion (Accumulator) Tank Add the A20 expansion tank to save water and electricity and increase your pumps lifetime. An ideal addition to the AQUA 8, previous models and other makes of pressure switch pumps. The new expansion tank eliminates the pulsating operation of the pressure switch pumps and supplies a constant flow of water in the quantity required. It also extends the life of the pump and boiler and cuts water consumption. The A20 is fitted inline via two connections that connect to 13mm diameter push on hose. The internal pressurized diaphragm provides a smooth, surge-free flow. The A20 can be dismantled for diaphragm operations. It is precharged at 0.9 bars(13.05 psi) but can be charged with the special valve with a normal compressor. The A20 can reduce electricity consumption by up to 28%.

Expansion tanks/Accumulators are only effective with diaphragm pumps, as diaphragm pumps cause pulsations in the flow of the water, where as there are no pulsations with centrifugal pumps. These are suitable for use with ALL our diaphragm pumps (Shurflo, Posiflo Aquaking etc.)
