Filter for Shurflo / Posiflow / Trailking pump - Threaded & Hose Barb Connections Every pump needs them! Our twist-on filter (twist-on strainer) has a 50 mesh stainless steel screen. It is an essential part of the water system and must be fitted with our pumps to prevent particles entering the pump and damaging it. Our filter simply screws on the pump inlet without the need for any further hardware. These filters are no longer manufactured with a hose tail as they were a weak point and were prone to snapping off! To overcome this problem, these filters are now supplied with a straight hose tail (hose barb) fitted to the standard threaded filter as shown in the photo below.  These filters are not just for the Shurflo / Posiflow / Trailking pumps, but can be used on many others, or as an additional filters in water systems Fully transparent (not translucent) material means that any particles can easily be seen.
